In Extremadura, pikes of 60 to 80 cm are extremely common. However, there are also large numbers of specimens that exceed the mythical one-metre mark, with some individuals reaching up to 120 cm or more. This abundance of large pike makes the area an essential fishing spot for enthusiasts, attracted by the possibility of catching fish of this exceptional size.

Black-Bass
In Extremadura you will have the opportunity to measure yourself against this sport fish, with an abundance of very large specimens. Catching black bass of 50+ is quite normal and common here.

Nitro Z19
The two Nitro Z19s in our fleet are the perfect partners for fishing enthusiasts looking for comfort and performance. With a length of 5.80 meters and a 200 horsepower V8 engine, the Z19 offers increased power to navigate quickly on the largest lakes. Lac Orellana La Vieja
Lake Orellana La Vieja, located on the Guadiana River, is one of the most famous in Extremadura. This massive reservoir, also called the "Sea of Extremadura", covers an area of approximately 5,000 hectares depending on the levels. It also offers a picturesque landscape, with hills and diverse aquatic fauna. It is particularly renowned for its abundant populations of pike, zander and black bass, making it a privileged site for fishermen. This lake is distinguished by its clear waters and its numerous coves, offering perfect conditions for fishing throughout. of the year. The region's mild climate allows for prolific fishing, with varied seasons to adjust catching techniques.
Lake García de Sola
Lake García de Sola, also known as Puerto Peña Reservoir, is nestled in the heart of a spectacular natural environment. Of 3,400 hectares with deep waters and steep banks, this lake is appreciated for the tranquility it offers to fishing enthusiasts. The lake is also bordered by cliffs where a wide variety of birds of prey nest, making it a unique observation spot for nature lovers. On the fishing side, García de Sola is famous for its large pelagic pike. But it is also very popular for black bass/perch/pike edge fishing.
Lake Cijara
Lake Cijara is another gem of the Extremadura region, located in a wild and isolated setting. This vast reservoir of approximately 6,500 hectares is surrounded by mountains and dense forests, creating a breathtaking landscape, precisely resembling Garcia Sola Lake. Lake Cijara is renowned for its population of barbel, black bass and zander.
Lake La Serena
Lake La Serena, one of the largest reservoirs in Spain, is of an impressive size, covering around 14,000 hectares. Located on the Zújar River, this lake provides a vast playground for fishermen, with its waters rich in fish and lunar landscapes. Although its shores are less wooded than those of the other lakes, the immensity of La Serena attracts fishing enthusiasts for its tranquility and isolation. The lake is renowned for its high density of barbel (5 different species of barbel including the famous Comiso). Fly fishing or lure fishing of this species give impressive results. Tracking giant pike is also possible but difficult! This is the one touch lake.. but with a potential record.
Lake Zújar
Lake Zújar, also located on the river of the same name, is a smaller but equally attractive reservoir for fishing. This lake is surrounded by stunning natural scenery, with rolling hills as a backdrop, providing a serene and relaxed ambiance for fishermen. On the fishing side, Lake Zújar is particularly appreciated for its black bass and barbel. Pike and zander are also present there. The waters are very rich in nutrients, favoring the rapid growth of fish as in all of the lakes in the region.
